A clean, beautiful site on the cliff tops with excellent sea views! Staff are excellent - will be booking again
We have been visiting Sandy Gulls touring park for the last 5 years and now try to come about twice a year as we love it so much. We have been in several spots, all which have fabulous sea views and we love hearing the sound of the sea too. There are lovely walks along the cliff tops and along the beach and it's about a mile walk into Mundesley village, were they are lovely places to eat. We would recommend the Royal Hotel and the Chinese takeaway. When visiting we always travel a short distance to Walcott as Kingfishers do the best fish n chips and the cafe also does a lovely breakfast and Jersey icecream. There are also several National Trust Properties to visit locally and the broads too. Happisburgh lighthouse is a good visit if you don't mind heights. The facilities at Sandy Gulls is very good, lovely hot showers and washing facilities. We didn't rate the entertainment or children facilities as it is an adult only site and there is none. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We love visiting and will definitely be back again.
This was a last minute decision to visit with family for a meet up. Beautiful location overlooking the beach and close to village facilities. Great chippy in Mundford by the way.
Sandy Gulls touring park is an absolute find on the Norfolk coast. the location is fantastic, with panoramic sea views. lovely spacious pitches, no stressful do's and don't regarding choosing and parking . dog's are very welcome, you must respect appropriate common sense rules such as picking up after them and ensuring they are on a lead/pegged out, which is for everyone's safety and comfort. staff are friendly and very helpful, willing to go the extra mile to help you enjoy your stay. cost of pitch..OK, seems pricey but omg well worth it as the site is a wonderful, peaceful retreat. short walk to the beach for fishing and walking (dogs are allowed on this stretch of the beach) . toilet and shower blocks lovely and clean. local shops for provisions are within walking distance, as is Mundesley village which has places to eat and shop. there is a bus service into nearby Cromer if you don't want to take the car. we love going to sandy gulls, and have been for the past 11 years, whether for a few days or two weeks hols. i can assure you once visited you will be spoilt and not want to go anywhere else
